London City named "Best International Airport"

London City Airport has been presented with a prestigious London Transport Award for being the best London airport. The award recognised the airport's continuing success in serving the needs of London's business traveller.

Declan Collier, London City Airport's Chief Executive Officer welcomed the accolade as a further endorsement of the airport's industry-leading strategies in the areas of technology, customer service and infrastructure and route development.

Blue Islands have operated flights to London City Airport since 2011, providing a twice-daily service for day return travel to the city. In recent months a third rotation to London City was introduced ahead of a partnership codeshare with CityJet, for even more flexibility.
