BLUE ISLANDS FLIGHT CREW

Blue Islands plays a vital role in ensuring high frequency, regional connectivity to the Channel Islands – an essential part of the islands' economy and residents' social wellbeing.

With a fleet of ATR aircraft, typical requirements for Blue Islands flight crew are as follows:

Minimum requirements Captain:

  • Valid FCL ATPL(A)
  • Command experience on aircraft with MTOW> 10,000kg

Minimum requirements First Officers:

  • Valid FCL ATPL(A) or ‘Frozen’ ATPL(A)
  • Minimum of 250 hours total flying hours, to include 50 hours multi-engine time
  • Successful completion of an approved MCC Course.

Preferences will be given to applicants who are type rated for ATR aircraft, but training will be provided to suitable candidates.
